Charles Town Races is a race track and casino located in Charles Town, West Virginia. Actually called Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races, it is located near Harpers Ferry, less than an hour from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. The racetrack opened in 1933 by the Shenandoah Valley Jockey Club.

The track generally runs a 5 days a week schedule. It also offers slot machines and table games, plus live and simulcast thoroughbred horse racing all year round. It also offers some of the nation’s best full-field cards for thoroughbred races.

In 2008, the track inaugurated The Sprint Festival, which is composed of four open stakes worth $500,000. The stakes are the Charles Town Invitational Dash, the Lady Charles Town, the West Virginia Sprint Derby, and the Red Legend Stakes. It is also home to the West Virginia Breeders' Classic, and its Grade II Charles Town Classic stakes run is probably one of the richest thoroughbred races in U.S. The latter is surpassed only by the Kentucky Derby and the Breeders' Cup World Championships.

In 2009, a referendum to allow table games at the facilities was approved, and one year later, the venue took on the name of Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.
