The Meadows Racetrack and Casino is a standardbred harness racing track and racino in North Strabane Township, Pennsylvania, 25 miles south of Pittsburgh. The track opened in 1963 and was operated by the Washington Trotting Association. The Association was purchased in 1973 by a group that included trainer Delvin Miller. The importance of this trainer in the history of The Meadows is marked by the latter’s most prestigious race bearing his name and that of his famous sire: the Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids. There is a statue of his horse at the track's entrance.

The Meadows made two significant advancements in 1983: it introduced the Call-A-Bet and the Meadows Racing Network (MRN). Call-A-Bet allowed for individual wagering accounts and phoned-in wagers, and the Meadows Racing Network simultaneously telecast each day's live races.

In 2006, The Meadows was awarded a gaming license and started construction on its casino. In 2007, substantial changes were made to the venue. New amenities included a 350,000-square-foot casino, a food court, and a steakhouse, a simulcast viewing area, a 24-lane bowling center, and 3,300 slot machines, among others. As an interesting fact, the chips used by the Meadows Casino are RFID chips. These have a special microchip inside that lets the table know it is a legitimate chip. This prevents the use of fake or forged chips within the play area.

The racetrack is a 5/8 mile oval; because the standard harness race distance is one mile, races need to kick off at the backstretch and go for three turns. Tartan was the original track’s surface material, a synthetic concoction made by 3M, but Tartan surfaces began posing too many problems and the surface was changed to stone dust. The track has no hub rail; hence, its inner portion is marked by pylons. It has an inside passing lane in the stretch called the Lightning Lane.

The Meadows conducts racing year-round, unlike many other tracks in the United States.
