The Minnesota Twins will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers at Target Field in Minnesota on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, in their only series of the year. The Twins have been a surprise so far this season, and are one game behind the division leading Detroit Tigers, while the Dodgers have not lived up to their offseason expectations, they have lost six of their last 10 games, and are currently third in the NL West, one game behind the division leading San Francisco Giants.

San Francisco Giants vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates are going to play the San Francisco Giants in their first series of the season on Monday, May 5, 2014 at PNC Park. Last year, the Pirates were the toast of the town, after making it back to the playoffs for the first time in 20 years, led by the 2013 NL MVP Andrew McCutchen. This year, they are having problems trying to replicate their success last year, and have lost eight of their last 10 games, putting them 9 games behind their division leader.

New York Mets vs. Philadelphia Phillies

The New York Mets are coming off a disappointing 2013 season, a month into this season they are currently 14-11, and are 3.5 games behind the division leading Atlanta Braves. They will be playing their first series of the season against their division rivals, the Philadelphia Phillies, another team coming off a disappointing season on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, in Philadelphia.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Memphis Grizzlies used a second half turnaround to clinch the 7th seed in the Western Conference, while the Oklahoma City Thunder overcame an injury to star point guard Russell Westbrook, and were in contention for the first seed in the Western Conference until the final week of the season. Both teams are currently tied 2-2 in what has become one of the most exciting series so far in the NBA playoffs.

NASCAR Toyota Owners 400

After eight races, the NASCAR Sprint Cup series moves on to the Richmond International Speedway for the Toyota Owners 400, on Saturday, April 26, 2014. It is still early in the season, but drivers have started jockeying for positions in the Cup Chase. With the new rules put in place prior to the season, any driver that wins a race will qualify for the playoffs, so drivers that would normally be left out of the playoffs because of points have a good chance of making the playoffs if they can win a race.

Alex Leapai vs. Wladimir Klitschko

Wladimir Klitschko has not lost a fight in nearly a decade, and has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon. He will put his winning streak on the line when he makes his 16th title defense against Alex Leapai in Germany on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Leapai is a modern day Rocky, who earned his title shot by defeating the number one challenger for Klitschko's belt, Denis Boytsov in the Title Eliminator.

UFC 172: Jon "Bones" Jones vs. Glover Teixeira

UFC 172 has a lot of interesting matchups that promise to provide some very entertaining fights. Former middleweight Anthony "Rumble" Johnson will be making his return to the UFC as a light heavy weight, against lightweight title contender Phil Davis, and the UFC light weight champion Jon "Bones" Jones defends his belt for the first time this year, against the dangerous Glover Teixeira in the Main event. The pay per view will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2014, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Texas Rangers vs. Seattle Mariners

Two AL West teams moving in opposite directions in their divisions will face off when the Texas Rangers play the Seattle Mariners on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Safeco Field. Both teams made some big offseason moves, bringing in some big name players to help them turn their fortunes around. Seattle looked like they made the right moves when they were winning earlier in the season, but after 22 games, Texas is the team on top of the division.

Chicago Blackhawks vs. St. Louis Blues

The Chicago Blackhawks were expected to repeat as Central Division champions after winning the Stanley Cup last season, unfortunately for the, the Colorado Avalanche and St. Louis Blues had the same idea, and finished 1st and 2nd in the division respectively, costing the Blackhawks home ice, because they finished the season as the 5th seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

The Philadelphia Phillies will face the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first of their two regular season series on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Chase Field in Phoenix. It will be the first home game for the Diamondbacks in a while, after playing their last seven games on the road. The Phillies have been playing good baseball recently, but are in a very tough division, and will need to win games like this to keep up with the other teams in their division.
