If you think about it, the US elections are somewhat like a UFC or boxing title fight, you've got two candidates, and only one can raise his arm in victory at the end.

Even more, a title defense, because Trump is "defending" his stay at the White House, while Biden is the top contender looking to hear the "and new" as he rises to the occasion and takes the Oval.

Now, we are not saying that these two will get into a fistfight -even though after the first debate that seemed almost probable-, but the US elections have their fighters (candidates) and each of them their corners (Political parties) to support them.

So now, in vintage Betmania fashion, let's go for the 'Tale of the Tape' between the presidential candidates:

Political Parties

Donald Trump is the candidate of the Republican Party, which goes by the classic liberalism. The GOP supports lower taxes, free-market capitalism, immigration restrictions, increased military spending, gun rights, restrictions on abortion, deregulation, and restrictions on labor unions.

On the other side, Joe Biden represents the Democratic Party, who lies more into civil liberty and social equality with support for a mixed economy.

Now that we've cleared that up, our tale of the tape. Of course, we aren't going to compare their reach advantage, but some of their stances and the odds they have in relevant states. Let's hop into it.

Racial and Social Justice

While Trump's administration has been under the scope in these topics, he states that efforts to ensure racial and social justice as a "merciless campaign to wipe out our history, defame our heroes, erase our values and indoctrinate our children…under the banner of social justice." A bit of a reach, Mr. Trump.

Biden proposes more than a dozen different plans to expand Black, Brown, and Native homes' access to affordable housing, better education, fair compensation, and clean energy.

Education Funding

While Trump has stated that no zip code should determine the future of children's education, he also provides a cut to public education to raise more private programs to promote scholarships. Trump says people want school choice, and that's what scholarships will provide.

Biden offers another input. He wants to triple the education funding for Title I, thus eliminating funding disparities between schools and giving access to more families and more services.

Healthcare

Well... Donald Trump hasn't quite handled this very topic very well, as you can see by Covid-19 numbers. Almost 200.000 deaths due to coronavirus, and even he caught the illness now.

On his part, Biden has vowed to get rid of private insurance and lower the cost of prescripted drugs. He wants people to feel that they will have affordable health care options in the case of health problems.

Tax Situation

Donald Trump wants a payroll tax cut. He believes this will work as an incentive for companies to keep their employers and stay productive and rehiring those workers who lost their job, especially during the pandemic.

Biden is the total opposite. He looks to raise the tax rate from 21 to 28% and restore the top individual tax rate from 37 to 39.6%, tax capital gains as ordinary income, and death for very high earners.

School Safety and Gun Control

The current POTUS signed the STOP School Violence Act law and is fighting for additional funding regarding school safety measures. Also, he is in favor of the proposal to pay teachers bonuses for carrying weapons.

Democrat candidate vows to take weapons of war off the streets, and hold the gun manufacturers accountable, as well as forbid the use of federal funds to arm or train educators to use firearms.

Those are some of the most important points and each candidate's input. Now, let's get to the odds and how you can profit from them.
