WILD BET #1 Texans @ Chiefs O 54.5

The first wild bet is to go O 54.5 points in the Kickoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans. Yes, 54.5 points is a huge mark, but the last three games between them have exceeded 55 points. Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes are two of the league's best in producing. Expect a bunch of points in this one.

WILD BET #2 Miami +6

Miami improved quite a lot in the offseason, spending on many top defensive players and acquiring a good set of running backs to accompany Week 1 starter, Ryan Fitzpatrick.

New England's defense is very fragile since its top stars opted out. Cam Newton is just debuting, and it's unclear how he will adapt to OC Josh McDaniels' playbook.

To top it all off, Miami has the Pats number. Anything can happen in Foxborough.

WILD BET #3 Las Vegas -3

It's like we're giving money away here since Carolina doesn't have much to offer besides Christian McCaffrey's heroics. Las Vegas Raiders is a far better team, with many weapons that Derek Carr can use to get at least a TD margin vs. the Carolina Panthers easily.

Teddy Bridgewater will be debuting as QB1 for Carolina, and while he is no scrub, you cannot expect a mindblowing performance. Las Vegas has some great pass rushers in their team like 'Mad' Maxx Crosby, which can pressure the newly signed QB to an unpleasant debut.

WILD BET #4 Chicago +3

How is it that Chicago is the underdog in this game? The Detroit Lions have Matt Patricia still as their head coach. Its secondary is very fragile.

Even though Mitch Trubisky is not an accurate QB for the Bears, Allen Robinson is a great receiver capable of doing damage.

Chicago's elite defense is not enough to punish Matthew Stafford and get Chicago more than a field goal advantage when the fourth quarter ends.

WILD BET #5 Colts vs. Jacksonville 0ver 45

Yes, this is one of the wildest probably. Yes, Philip Rivers is just arriving in Indianapolis, but he has the best offensive line in football, and he also has a plethora of weapons to choose from. Jonathan Taylor and Marlon Mack are ballers, TY Hilton has been a top wideout for the better part of a decade, and the rest of WR are decent. They also go against one of the worst teams in football.

Gardner Minshew is probably putting on a decent performance and giving Jacksonville some points as well. I see points raining from everywhere in this match.

WILD BET #6 Chargers @ Bengals U 43

How can a game with Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler, Mike Williams, Joe Mixon, AJ Green, Tee Higgins, and Joe Burrow end under 43 points?

First off, the Chargers defense is loaded, and a rookie QB like Burrow may struggle to find his rhythm against them. Also, Chargers' QB1 is Tyrod Taylor, who will not blow out anyone with his play. Last time Taylor was a starter, he averaged only 6.7 yards per attempted pass, the lowest of all league starters.

There is talent on both offenses, but 43 points maybe a lot to bargain. Go with Under for this game.

WILD BET #7 CARDINALS +7

These two teams put a show every time they meet. The 49ers are contenders, but they slowed down on offense with the departures of Matt Breida (743 yds from scrimmage) and Emmanuel Sanders, who was their best WR.

On the other side, Arizona has Kyler Murray ready to explode in his second season under center. They added elite wideout DeAndre Hopkins to join the legend Larry Fitzgerald, plus Kenyan Drake is in the backfield for the rushing needs. San Francisco may win, but that spread is brutal. They won't be winning by more than a TD.
